Welcome to the Mathematical Days!

The Finnish Mathematical Days is a biannual meeting of mathematicians in Finland.

In 2006 the Finnish Mathematical Days is held on 4th and 5th of January in the Tietotalo building of Tampere University of Technology, Tampere (address: Korkeakoulunkatu 1).

The conference is organized by the Institute of Mathematics of TUT, the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Philosophy of the University of Tampere, Finnish Mathematical Society and Estonian Mathematical Society.

This year's Finnish Mathematical Days will be held together with the second Finnish-Estonian Mathematical Colloquium. The joint event is a good opportunity to create links between mathematicians in Finland and Estonia.

Sašo Džeroski (Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia)
Kalle Kaarli (University of Tartu, Estonia)
Matti Lassas (Helsinki University of Technology, Finland)
